Yicrosoft Directory Gets Indexed in Google Faster

It’s been a couple of years since the time Google would update their index every 3-4 months. From a search engine standpoint, that was pretty often compared to others (Then again, there wasn’t much to compete with in the first place). However, as time passed and their algorithm got more and more sophisticated, their index refresh time happened faster. For example, the Yicrosoft Directory first got indexed within hours! See how much has changed since then.

Google Spends More Than Government…on the Environment

Wind FarmHave you ever entered the URL google.org by accident? Me neither. But it does exist, in fact, it is a very noble site. In 2004, the shareholders of Google made a commitment to make a difference in the world the best way they knew how: by spending lots of money. So, they planned dedicate 1% of Google’s equity and profits (yes, that’s a lot) to try and save the environment and perform other charitable causes. Which brings me to my next fact: as of last month, Google.org has committed over $75 million in grants, planning to invest hundreds of millions of dollars and yes, that is a lot more than what the government has planned.
